Hello! I am Bhanu Tomar LawrenceA, an American-Asian educator raised in New Zealand and the UK, now based in Lisbon, Portugal. I teach only B1–C2 learners who want fast, confident communication, not boring Grammar drills.

For 7+ years I have taught professionals, students, and public figures across Ukraine and the world- China, Brazil, Japan, Thailand, South Korea, Poland, Czech Republic, and Hungary.
In Kyiv, I worked full-time at many top level English schools, and earned a Certificate of Excellence for outstanding teaching. I now design programs and mentor teachers as Director of Studies at Verbaura Academy.
Academically, I hold two Master’s degrees, one in Sociology and another in International Relations, earned across institutions in Sweden, Portugal, and the UK. I also possess internationally recognized teaching qualifications, including a TESOL Professional Diploma, BEC Higher, and CELTA. These credentials enable me to design engaging, real-world lessons that foster both critical thinking and effective communication.”
