Enterprise High Endurance SSD
The PX02SS Enterprise SSD series is optimized for use in mission-critical server and storage platforms requiring high endurance from write-intensive applications such as write caching, acceleration and OLTP (On-Line Transaction Process) servers. The PX02SS series features MLC NAND flash memory in capacities of 100, 200, 400 and 800 GB, all with a 12 Gbit/s SAS interface. The drive achieves random write speeds up to 42,000 IOPS, random read speeds of up to 130,000 IOPS and increases eSSD endurance capability to 30 DWPD (Drive Write Per Day).

Optional features: PX02SSQ/U series supports self-encryption which may help IT professionals protect data from unintended data disclosure when drives or storage systems are re-purposed, retired from service, or otherwise moved outside the physical security of the data center environment.

Toshiba’s TCG SED option (PX02SSQ/U) is designed according to the Trusted Computing Group (TCG) industry-standard Enterprise Security Sub-Classification (SSC), and provides for both access security and full-disk encryption with SIE (Sanitize Instant Erase) capability.
